Hi Dwayne, Delighted to see your message as it has been nearly four years since I entered my message !! I am English but live in France so the majority of my family research is done through the internet. Which is not always very easy.I was very interested to see the 1860 census showing Rachel (nee AUGUST) with Chauncey and a baby at Brownville, NE, where the August family also lived then.
The baby in the 1880 census is called Bennett but you show him in the 1870 census (which I am unable to see) as Riley. IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT YOU COULD GIVE ME THE AUGUSTS IN THE 1870 CENSUS IN BROWNVILLE, NE PLEASE ???You do not mention the 1880 census which shows the Richardson family with Sara AUGUST at Lanesboro, Fillmore, Minnesota. In addition to the young Chauncy there is also a Sylvia and a Maggie.
I can of course give you info on the AUGUSTS who left ENG in 1845 as the Jeremiah AUGER (AUGUST)who headed that part of my family was the father to my great, great, grandfather. Just let me know how much detail you would like to have and I will send it. My family tree is on www.genesreunited.co.uk should you be able to see that website. Best wishes for the moment. David August
