Ken,
I'm sorry that our William RIchards are different folks. Our WIlliam was living in Ohio in 1850, farming, with his widowed mother and sister living with him. In 1854 he leased out some land. His father was Paul who was married about 1815 and his brother C.S., my great grandfather, was born in 1818. Good luck searching.
