I am posting to find out information on my grandfather Rich's family. This is a repost since apparently the first did not go through.
Lemuel Worth Rich, b. 24 July 1905, d. Nov 1981. Pender Co, North Carolina.
He was a lumberman and scrap dealer in the Long Creek area of Pender Co, NC until he died.
He had a brother Faison and a sister Rena, I believe. Faison may have been called "Jesse Faison", and I found a record on one b. 1911, WW2 USN service. I am not sure since beyond reading the Pender Co obit of Nov 1981, I have never heard of these people.
He married Irene Elizabeth Peterson of Atkinson, b. Oct 1918, and they had three daughters, Phyllis, Nancy, and Betty, my mother.
Besides the fact that we played in his junkyard as kids, and he drove an old station wagon, and loved his carrot juice, I don't know much about him and his previous family.
