Hi!
My 3rd gr grandfather was David Rich from Jackson County, IN. I received his service pension file not long ago. If anyone out there is researching this Rich family, I'd be glad to hear from you. I suspect that his father was born in NC and mother was from KY.
The file didn't resolve much of anything about David Rich. However, I believe it did settle, once and for all, that his widow was Sarah Sally Shelton. She was a member of the Shelton family.
