Unless one of your ancestors was Jeb Stuart, Robert E. Lee or Stonewall Jackson, I have missed the statues and have lived in Richmond all my life. There was a large family of Rices of whom Thomas Rice is the progenitor who left England about 1680 and settled outside of Richmond in Hanover Co. Many of his descendents lived in the surrounding counties such as Goochland and Louisa and later moved to KY. This could be your Richmond connection.
