When I found Andrew Ward's book on line, I didn't know if I could find my ggggrandmother Anne (Anna) Rice who married Ebenezer Warren, or not. I hunted through for some 20 minutes, looking quickly at all the children's names in the Rice families. I finally found her under Joseph Rice (1187). I knew it was her; it said she married Ebenezer Warren. I traced the family back to Edmund, following the number system used.
Later I went to another site and read that she was the daughter of Abel Rice. I traced that back and came to Abel, and there was no mention of a husband. I think Ward was right.
