Hello My Grandfather was John Luther Rice born 1885 death 1964 Woodruff S,C his Father was William Larkin Rice born 1863 in BUNCOMBE Co, N,C Death York Co S,C His father was Larkin Rice born 1810 .S.C Larkin Joined the Army of the Confederacy at the age of 56 in 1861 I have seen in the census and other Documents lARKIN'S father was born in Virginia, But I have no paper doc, proving or connecting his father or mother, I do not want to just Speculate or assume who they are without some connection, I have been researching my mothers family for over 10 years among others any help with this would be most appreciated, thanks Doris W O'Shields.
