Looking for further information on my family genealogy.
John MELVIN information unknown Nancy ? information unknown They may be found in North Carolina as Aaron MELVIN birth was suppose to there in 1796!
John & Nancy were the parents of:
Aaron MELVIN B; 1796 P; North Carolina D: 1861 P: Franklin co.,IL Marriage about 1820 P: Tennessee to Margaret SULLIVAN B: 1802 P; Tennessee D:1874 Franklin co., IL
** Margaret's parents were Joseph Sullivan B: 13 Jan 1771 D: 16 Sept 1843 and Elizabeth SULLIVAN B: ? D: ? M: ?
Aaron & Margaret were the parents of:
James Wesley MELVIN B: 1835 in Sumner co., TN and Elizabeth RICE B; 1837 in Illinois, D; 1907. Marriage 7 March 1858 Parrish, Franklin County, IL
** Elizabeth's parents were Charles B: 1805 Tennessee and ??
all I have is that she was Mrs. Charles RICE died before 1850 and is buried in Franklin county, IL.
James & Elizabeth were the parents of:
James "Jim" Aaron MELVIN B: 18 Feb 1878 D; 18 Sept 1961 who married Ida PLASTERS B: 2 Jun 1887 Franklin Co., IL D: 25 Aug 1983 Marriage was 10 July 1903
I have information beyond this point, I just need to find the information from John MELVIN and Nancy ? and beyond for the MELVIN side and beyond all other information for the RICE and SULLIVAN families.
