Joan,
The descendants of Deacon Edmund Rice are in Group 1 of the DNA study, while the descendants of Henry the Gristmiller are in Group 7, so there is no connection between them. What group are your DNA participants in or if they are still in Group 99, what are their numbers?
I am trying to find out how the name Stephen got into our line which is in Group 5. Stephen and his brother John Robert went to Tennesee and served in the War of 1812 in a Tennessee unit.
I have always wondered about Isaac Rice and his connection with the Senters. My husband has Senters in his line also. I read somewhere Isaac was a Campbellite (New Lite) minister as was our Archibald b. 1795 in VA.
I shall keep digging, but we really need DNA participants for many of these lines to sort them out.
Martha
