Received an email from Melissa today, 4 20 09 asking after Ernest Appling RICE.
That he was on my data base on www.rootsweb.ancestry.com as chekwriter. and on www.gencircles.com as MyFamily2005.
Had no immediate knowledge how that family member was related to my husband's family FISCHER - EVANS - BERUBE - PETREE/PETRIE etc.
Found that Effie RICE listed as marred to Robert Fred PETREE son of James Henry PETREE and Mary Lou SMITH.
Mary Lou apparently his second wife. Or in the case that they were Mormon.
In seeing now how the RICE family file was compiled and merged explained it.
Being curious, tried to find parents for Effie.
But do not see Robert and Effie and their family on the 1920 census for anyplace. 1910 he is age 14 with his parents. But listed as Robert E PETREE.
Does any one know about this family unit, and if Effie remarried, and had more children???
Just to have a little more information of that line.
Robert and Effie had children, Millard, Daphne and 3 living children listed.
And or also, is this information correct as listed and posted on the 2 data bases???
