George, Harrison, Benjamin and William

I recently learned from a death certificate, that Harrison Rice's Father is Jorge Rice.
Harrison supposidly born in June, 1884 died of T.B. on December 19, 1932.

Now, I can not find a Jorge (George) Rice anywhere in East Tennessee. They are supposed to be from around Jefferson County. I did find a George around 1826 in Jefferson Count, but can not connect.

Harrison, from what I have found on the net at various sites,
Harrison has a father named Thomas
Harrison has a father named William
Harrison has a father named William H

Wow Lucky Kid!

This is what I know about Harrison for sure and know from documents.

Harrison had 2 wives.
First was Della Collins
They had Charles and Clayton

2nd wife was Pearl Milligan (Pearl Bessie Milligan)Proof
They had Hobart William and Robert James (Our line.)

Harrison was in the 1900 census with brother Benjamin, his wife Alice and daugher Mandy in Claiborn County, TN.

The next Census I found him on was in the 1920 census in Knox County, TN
Harrison with Wife Pearl, son Hobart and her mother Ceila Milligan.

NOTE: Now at this point, I do not know where the other 1/2 brothers are, Charlie and Clayton.
Also, I did not find him on the 1910 Census yet.

On the 1930 Censes, Knox County TN, he resided at 2202 Adams Ave. with wife Pearl B. son Clayton S., Hobart W. and Robert J.

Then I went to the Knoxville City Directory.

In 1912 he was listed as working for the Southern Railway, (don't know what he did there) and boarded at 412 Glenwood Ave.
NOTE: I skipped a year, run out of time at the archives.
In 1914 Harrison M., Emp Standard Knitting Mills, housed at 1811 1/2 6th Ave.
NOTE: Had to get out of the archives.
Went on up to 1932, the year he died and found him still on Adams Ave, emp at Standard Knitting Mills.

NOTE: According to the death certificate, the doctor who signed the certificate said that Harrison had been under his care for 12 months.

Same ref. I found Chas (Charles) emp Sterchi Bros Stores and resided at the 2202 Adams Ave.

Same ref. Found Clayton emp Holston Box and Lbr Co residing at the 2202 Adams Ave

Now here is where my thoughts come in...........
IN 1910, Claiborn County Census There is a Thomas B with wife Alice, Daughters Amanda, Tennessee and Dolly M.

In the 1920 Census Claiborn County, There is a Thomas B, with wife Mary A, Dolly M daug, Wm C.(?) and Lorene(?) dau

So, I am going to go with the assumtion here, that Thomas B is Harrisons Brother not his father. and that Thomas re married and Mary A is his second wife.

IF William is Thomas father, then he would have to be Harrisons father as well.

BUT The only William, age 26 that I can find is in the 1870 census of Talbotts Station with wife Amanda age 22 and son Thomas age 6/12 mos. So this Thomas would have been born in March, 1870. Census Dated August 18th. Harrison was born in 1884. This fits because in the 1900 when Harrison was in the home of Benjamin, he was 28 and Harrison was 15 Dated Jun 14, 1900.

I wonder how Pearl got the name "Jorge" as Harrison's father? Could he have been a step father? and Who was Harriosn's mother? Could have his mother re married to a guy named "Jorge" and this is the only name that Pearl knew?

If anyone has a better solution, PPPPPPLLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEE let me know.
