I have heard that Philena Rice (born 1804 Windsor,Vt) was the daughter of Squier Rice (born 1777), (son of Obadiah Rice, born 1746) and Katy Winch. Philena married Southworth Mather in 1823 in Union Co. Ohio. Does anyone have proof that Philena is the daughter of Squier or Squire? Philena and Southworth had a son Squire Mather.
