My gggrandfather was William Rice Adams, b. 1828 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England. He gave Rice to all his children as their middle name. I recently found out that his wife (their mother), had the name of Mary R. Masselin and she too, was from the same place. I remember reading some years ago that there were areas in England where the people all used the name of Rice. Does anyone know anything about this or about this family? Thank you. Ann Stephenson
