My great uncle, Nicholas Riccio, lived in Bridgeport until his death during the 1980s. He mentioned to me a Leonard Riccio up there, and I'm wondering if there's a connection. Nicholas' father was Francisco, who came from Castelfeanco during the 1880s and settled in Vineland, NJ. Francisco's father was Leonardo, who married around 1850 Maria Antonia Scinto in Castelfranco.
Anything soud familiar? I have my line back to Francisco pretty well laid out, if it fits in. Most of them stayed in south Jersey--never knew why Uncle Nick moved up there--maybe there were relatives there?
Thank you.
