Kingstown earliest records: 1600s

My interest is in the earliest records for Kingstown, Washington County, Rhode Island. According to some references they were badly damaged in a fire in 1870 but are/were in the process of being restored.

Does anyone know if those records have been successfully restored? If so - where are they available?
