After further research John Francis Brand was found to be the son of Nathan and Clarinda (Green) Brand. This Nathan Brand was the son of Nathan and Eunice (Crandall) Brand. This Nathan was the son of Samuel and Rachel (Tanner) Brand. Samuel was the son of Tobias Brand who was the son of Thomas and Sarah (Larkin) Brand of Westerly, RI.
