You're quite welcome! As per usual, we all gain from this type of exchange...I because I now know about a nearby branch of Gard(i)ners not directly connected to the Narragansett Planter Gardiners...and perhaps we both gain...speaking of Phillips...we in Washington County RI are still trying to chase down the uplines for the enigmatic Nicholas Holley(Holloway) m. Mehitable Phil(l)ips....their son John Holley b. 1739, d. 1822 South Kingstown, Washington County, Rhode Island. Who knows...perhaps there is a connection...greater mysteries have been solved with no more of a clue than what you have provided.

My very best wishes for you and your husband,
Barry Hale Browning
