Ann Carr married into the Northup family (Immanual Northup's 3rd wife, my 8th grandparents). Her parents were Nicholas and Frances Holmes Carr. Caleb was her Grandfather. I have been trying to get info on Caleb himself, but other then brief statistics, nothing. I'd like to know where he died by drowning. I'd like to also know more about his personal life besides his governorship. I'm sure he had other occupations, and must have had land. Do you have any data on him? I read he was a "figurehead" of a governor, but can't find many details on that either. I do know those were controversial times.
