Simmons/Crandall- Tiverton? Little Comp?

I, and several other people, are trying to document the marriage of Sophronia Simmons to Ellery Crandall on October 15, 1804. The bride was the daughter of Ivory Simmons & Mercy Taylor. The groom was the son of Abner Crandall & Mary Wilcox.
Both sets of parents lived in Newport County, in Tiverton or Little Compton, in 1804, and since the bride & groom were the same age (19), and unmarried, most certainly lived at home.
Sophronia Simmons was descended from five passengers on the Mayflower, so finding proof of this marriage is very important. One party has been searching for thirty-two years. Any leads/info would be great.
