Thank you for the leads!

Since we last communicated I've been to the Allen Library in Ft. Wayne, IN. The records I was able to find for RI were not very helpful. I did find a book that transcribed some of the people in some of the cemeteries but they only listed names of people who died before 1850 and had a spouse buried next to them! In the time they took to decide whether to list a person or NOT they could have written the name down!

Next week I'm going to a Family History Library to order a few films from Salt Lake. They have one titled "Births, Marriages and Deaths A-C 1684-1863" for Newport,RI. City Clerk, Author. I am hoping this will have what I need, if not I'll be sure to contact your leads.
