Looking for family and descendents of Jesse Babcock Webster b. 1821 in Rhode Island d. Nove 29, 1899 in Windham, Windham Co., CT married May 16, 1846 (Bible states Mass. area) to Betsy Ormsby b. March 20, 1828 d. Apr. 9, 1895 Windham, Windham Co., CT d/o Ralph and Sally Maria (Wilbur/Withers) Ormsby. Jesse and Betsy had the following children:

married Sept. 5, 1875 Windham Co.,Ct

(note: family bible has divorced written in it, but this
seems to be a much later entery)
married 2nd: James Alfred "Jim" Griswold abt 1901
(note: this is about the same time frame Griswold's and
Larkins head west to Washington, so they could have
married in CT but most likely Washington)
Myrtella and James are my husband family line.
I have searched the census for 1850 in Rhode Island to find who Jesse and Betsy might be residing with at that time as Jesse is not listed in any of the index's as head of house. Everyone was searched excluding the following men (could not bring up these pages):
1. Charles Webster of Newport Twp., Newport Co., Rhode Island
2. Anthan Webster also of that town.
3. David Webster also of that town.
On the 1880 Census for Windham, Windham Co., CT is listed
Jesse B. Webster 59 RI Carpenter RI RI
Betsey 52 CT house keeping CT CT
Myrtie 10 CT at school RI CT
Eveline (single) 32 CT Works in Cotton Mill RI CT
Sarah Webster Cousin 24 RI " " " " RI RI
Elizabeth Thatcher Other 22 Eng " " " " Eng Eng
Jesse has a cousin Sarah born in RI abt 1856 residing with him. An his daughter Evelyn who married Thedore Park Larkin according to the family bible is listed under her maiden name as well as given as single, However, she is later found in Cowlitz Co., Washington under the name of Larkin(s)/Larham. In the 1880 census I could find no trace of Thedore Larkin (and veried spellings).
