I'm looking for the parents of my grandmother Thelma Livsey Wells nee Steer, who was born in Hill's Grove on 29 Jun 1904. Her mother's name was Florence (Flossie), while nothing is known about her father. Thelma mentioned before she died, that one of her grandparents may have been the founder of this unofficial township, Thomas Jefferson Hill. She was supposed to have been raised as a child in his mansion. I have seen nothing which would indicate this may be factual however. If anyone has a Steer to Hill connection, I would be most interested.
