George Lamphere, son of Richard Lamphere and Averina Unknown, was born in 1631 in Berkshire, England, died on October 6, 1731 in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island at age 100, and was buried on October 7, 1731.
Noted events in his life were:
• Researches Notes. In 1669 he purchased land from John Clarke in Westerly, R.I.
In 1671 he took the oath of allegiance in R.I.
In 1678 he was baptized at the "waterside at the mill."
In Jul 1704 he had 200 acres laid out.
In 1727, he was judged incapable of managing his affairs and his land was divided among his children.
George married Jane Hulet in 1658 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island. Marriage status: death of a spouse. Jane was born in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island and died in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island.
