That helps things along; it brings us down to two, James and John. Looking around I see John’s marriage to Sarah Burlingame took place about 1742. That would leave Sarah out as William’s mother. I would also suspect that she is John’s second marriage. The children listed for John and Sarah seem to have been born around the 1720’s. This would also indicate that this would be John’s second marriage.
Now James married twice Rebeckah Davis and Sarah Bailey. Rebeckah gave James a son by the name of William b.abt.1723 and d.1763 at sea. This William was also married to Sarah Roberts. So if this information is correct this is not the William that we are looking for. Also James is not the parent of the William in Coventry cemetery 060.
So that brings us back to John and his first wife. Could this be William’s parents?
