French-Canadian Catholic emigrants incluenced RI for generations
Connie LEMONDE's ancestors emigrated from QUÉBEC to NEW ENGLAND and brought their religious belief and fervour with them. This influenced the life of their children, who continued to spread the faith for many generations. Connie LEMONDE has painted a series of religious themes, which she has generously shared with us. You may view her paintings of ANGELS, of the BLESSED VIRGIN (as a child, as a pregnant woman and as the Mother of God), and of JESUS in album # 40 at the following link.
