Hi, Denny. My girlfriend's mother is a Sauvageau from Woonsocket, RI...her father goes to Claude via Isaac Sauvageau, a mariner, of Grondines, St. Charles, Portneuf, Quebec, (husband of M. Chavigny), who had children in Somerset Wisconsin and in Grondines during the 1840-1850 period. Isaac's son, Joesph Alphonse (b. Grondines, 1853) went to Wisconsin, then to Woonsocket RI in 1915...remained there until his death in the mid-1920's.
