Jamie, I would suggest you complete your state-side research on your families first before going over to the auld sod. Add'l research here may uncover the co. & townland they were from. 2 of my ancestors stones indicated they were born in County Leitrim, so we knew that early on. Only this past summer did we learn the parish & townland. We now have the marriage record of my gg-gparents & the baptisims of their 2 oldest girls in 1820's Ire. Have you contacted city hall in Providence for the civil record of the marriage of Peter & Mary? Hopefully, it will give you their parents names. It will indicate who married them and if they were of the catholic faith, the archivist can tell from his name what church he was affiliated with. I noticed on the R.I. vital records that the births & deaths of some of this family is indexed. Might want to go for the baptismal records as well. Peter & Mary are living at the same address in 1910 & 1920 that Peter was in 1930, Mary having died in 1926. If you need the 1910 & 1920 census data, e-mail me direct. The indexes I can send in text format but the census records are sent as attachments. Dick
