I have seen & used the Carr Book by Arthur A. Carr at the DAR Library in Washington DC. It is about the descendants of Robert & Caleb Carr who were brothers from England arriving in Mass. in 1635 and within a few years moved to Rhode Island. It was good for me, since I had a connection in it. I probably looked at the other one in DC, but it was a different family. Arthur's book may be on Family Treemaker on Line Library. Hope this helps.
