Nines Family in RI

Seeking information about the Nines family in Providence area 1850 to 1870
William Nines 1824-1900 (served in Civil War on the USS Ohio and Colorado for Rhode Island, later in the Connecticut Infantry--was wounded at the New Market fight.)
m. Rosanna Bradley 1835-1869 in 1850 or 1851
Children
Mary Ann Nines 1852
William Nines 1853
Charles Andrew Nines 1854-1926
Ellen Nines
Catherine J. 1858
Margaret G. 1859
Frank 1860
Cordelia F. 1862
James 1864
John Francis 1866- bef. 1892
Rosa F. 1869

Rosanna died around in the 1870s

In the 1860 census, sons Charles and William were found to be living in a Catholic Children's Home, and their mother was listed as a pauper.

I am a descendant of Charles A. Nines, through my grandmother Loretta M. Nines Livingston. As far as we know she is the last of the Nines.

Any help in tracing the family further back or finding distant cousins would be appreciated.

Pam Ingle
