SEEKONK, Mass. --- Joseph A. Ostiguy, 72, of 105 Coyle Drive, a branch manager for Cory Coffee Services, Warwick, for 10 years before retiring in 1980, died yesterday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Celeste (Russell) Ostiguy.
Born in Cumberland, a son of the late Albert and Ellen (Roche) Ostiguy, he lived in Seekonk for 30 years.
Mr. Ostiguy was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, and a former member of its choir.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Richard J. Ostiguy of South Attleboro and Kenneth R. Ostiguy of Seekonk; a daughter, Donna J. Arruda of South Attleboro; three sisters, Catherine Prew of North Attleboro, Mary Maloney of Pawtucket and Anna Tiernan of North Providence; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Coyle Drive, at 10. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket
