Durant, MS. William Clifton Rhyne b. 2-5-1884

Looking for information on the parents of William Clifton Rhyne, born 2-5-1884 in Holmes Co.,Durant,MS. I know his father was born in NC and mother in MS because of the 1910 federal census entry that shows him as a plantation manager in Meregold, MS, at age 26. Clifton may be a family name from NC. Also have "word of mouth" information that his mother may be a Clay with ancestors in Kentucky.

Have found a James T. Rhyne(b. 10-3-1841, d. 6-24-1910) and Roberta Clay Rhyne (b. 2-25-1853, d. 12-11-1939) buried in Springhill Cemetery in Holmes Co. on the MS Gen Web pages. Does anyone know about this couple?
