MY grandmother was Annie Marie Rhynard, born in Halifax to the parents of Sara Smith & William Rhynard. She had a brother,( William the only sibling that I know of)They moved to Indiana then to Troy Ohio. There I think Sara & William left eah other& Sara, Annie & William returned back to Me. (or Canada) Annie maried my grandfather Edward Pulk( now spelled Polk)in Eastport Me. They moved to an island, Vinalhaven off the coast of Me. My dad ,Walter was born 3-1900.He died in 1964, when I was 13. He was "adopted" from family on the mainland & taken to the island as an infant. I know nothing of the Rhynard family, other that perhaps William married a Bailey?Annie Rhynard Polk & her brother William are buried in Vinalhaven.Does this ring a bell? I've tried for months to locate any Rhynard relatives Betsy
