Hey Jason, You asked if Roy, James T.Willie, Mary or Aidale Rhoten were familiar names. They were the children of Morgan Rhoten who was the brother of my grandfather. Bennie Roton.
As for the part about Switzerland, I found that out from a Robert Roten, who saw my messages and replied. He has our family to be in Switzerland from 1650 until now. Some moved to England, then to SC, Al, MS, TX.

You can see this at> http://rsl.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/rslsql.cgi?op=search&type=Surname&surname=Rhoten. I have also just found out that some of our family that is buried in Shiloh Church cemetery spelled their names Rhoden and that some buried there had been adopted for some reason by a Matthews family. I haven't been back to check these out yet but I do remember seeing them about a month ago when I was there.

Hopiing to hear from you soon.
Your Cuz
Donnie
