Ancestral File FNK6-J5 indicates that William RHODES (1698-1744) and Hannah MILLER (1705-1744>) produced seven offspring in Middlesex County, VA Colony--all sons, of whom two died within two months and two years ofbirth, respectively. Some folks seem to have difficulty accepting that there were no surviving daughters. Ironically, their first surviving son, William Rhodes (1724-1787), is known to have married only Elizabeth MORELAND in 1770 in Union District, SC Colony, dying in Edgefield District SC ca. 1787.
Offspring of William RHODES and Hannah Miller were: (1) Hezekiah RHODES b. 08 Oct. 1723 d. 10 Dec 1723 (2) William RHODES Jr. (1724-1787) (3) John RHODES (1727-1792 (4) Christopher RHODES (1730-1813) (5) James RHODES (1734-1736) (6) Benjamin RHODES (1736-1820) (7) Hezekiah Rhodes (1738-1816).
