It looks like you have researched the Ray/rhea line a lot in TN. I had listed a Thomas L. Ray b. 1837 m to Elizabeth Maxwell as a possible brother or cousin of my Virgil Ray b. 1844 since they both served in the same unit in the civil war out of Wilson Co TN. But maybe not. My wall is his parents. Only listed in census as Elinor, Eleanor, Ellen Ray born 1808-1818. She also had Sophronia b 1840. They lived next to Archibald, and Robert Rhea.
