Peter Reynolds or Raynolds came from Enfield County, Connecticut to Stockbridge, Sheffield, Berkshire County, Connecticut as a Missionary.

Mr. Freegrace Reynolds was in the congregation of Dr. West in Stockbridge. Dr. West died May 13, 1819, aged 84. From "Stockbridge, Past and Present; or Records of an Old Mission Station by Miss Electa F. Jones, published in Springfield by Samuel Bowles & Company 1854."

A "Freegracer" Reynolds was born 20 Jan 1767, son of Samuel Reynolds born 1728 Enfield, Connecticut, died 16 Feb 1774, married 18 Feb 1825 Martha Williams. Issue:
Elizabeth Reynolds(b 1759) m Nathaniel Ely
Martha Eli b 1761
Samuel b 1762
Abigail b 1763
Mary b 1765
Freegracer b 1767
George 1770
