My maiden name is Rey and my dad is Henry Edward Rey...his father was Belton Rey and Belton's father was Norman L. Rey. Norman was born in Virginia and had a brother William and a brother George and there were a couple more siblings. They were all painters. I think we have a connection here...thanks, Kathleen in Pasadena, Md.

PS:I am assuming Norman's middle name is Lewis...if so, I think his father was John Lewis Rey who married Mary J. Thockmorton in Richmond and his father was possibly Lewis Rey who married a Harriet Tucker
