In the 1850 census in Tattnall Co, GA a 2 year old Solomon Ruis appears in the family of widow Mrs. Ruis (F86) with another female, Maryann Ruis (F24). Obviously, the 86 year old Mrs. Ruis is Mary, the widow of John Rewis Sr. I doubt that Solomon is the son of 86 year old Mary. I would bet that he is probably the son of Maryann Ruis. Try looking at Tattnall Co, GA guardianship bonds about 1848-1850.
