Seeking descendants, if any, of the following individuals who were living in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., Iowa at the time of the 1900 census:
Henry C. Reuter, b. Dec 1857, Germany
Phoeba J., b. Sep 1867, Illinois (wife)
Floyd T., b. Apr 1893, Iowa (son)
Edgar H., b. Mar 1894, Iowa (son)
Helen J., b. Dec 1897, Iowa (daughter)
Phoeba J. (Turner) Reuter was the daughter of Silas Turner and Eliza Anderson of DeWitt Co., Illinois and Harrison Co., Missouri, and granddaughter of James Anderson and Phebe Purtee. She was living with two of her children in Oklahoma City, OK, in 1920 and with her daughter in Kansas City, MO, in 1930. I cannot yet locate them in 1910.
Helen J. Reuter was known as "Joy" and may have married someone with the surname of "Fasmire." She was living in Kansas City, MO, in 1964 according to an old letter I have that was written by a cousin.
I am compiling the descendants of James Anderson; have lots of Anderson/Turner info to share but no further Reuter info.
