In the late 1800s, two brothers from Germany, Christian (my great-grandfather) and John (?) go to Venezuela and buy land. They start a coffee plantation there. Christian marries and has at least two children born there (Charles and John) before he moves to the Green Bay (Pine Gove), Wisconsin, area and settles as a farmer. The other brother and his descendents keep the property in Venezuela in some capacity at least through the 1970s. Any information on this Reuter family and the Venezuelan connection would be greatly appreciated.
