Annual Fretz Family Reunion - August
WHO: The Fretz Family Association is a not-for-profit organization set up to unite the descendants of "Weaver" John Fretz and "Tinicum" Christian Fretz, brothers who emigrated from Germany to Bucks Co., PA in the 1720's.
WHAT: Annual Fretz Family Reunion, one of the longest, ongoing reunions held in the United States, first began in 1888.
WHEN: Second Saturday in August of each year. Day begins at 9:00am.Next reunion date is August 10, 2002.
WHERE: Camp Men-O-Lan in Quakertown, PA
WHY: Meet family relations, look up family history, learn about family and local histories through guest speakers, view historical photos and heirlooms, purchase family history books.
