Bloom Family Reunion - Clearfield County, PA

A Bloom Family Reunion is in it's initial planning stage and the organizers are hoping that descendants of Wilhelm (William) Bloom (1752-1828) will gather together for this event in the summer of 2015 in Clearfield county. Allowing so much advance notice will give people plenty of time to get the word out and to plan accordingly.

William an American immigrant, who served in the Revolutionary War was one of the earliest settlers and the progenitor of the most prominent family of Clearfield County. His posterity numbers in the thousands and are scattered around the country, while many remain in and around Clearfield.

The hardest part of this endeavor is finding everyone. If you're a descendant of William Bloom please contact us so your family can be updated as plans are put into place.

We're hoping for a big attendance and the effort is underway to make it an enjoyable and profitable experience. This would be a great opportunity to meet with other Bloom family members to exchange family history, photos, data etc.

Please email organizer Chrissie VanTol at: for more information and feel free to pass this post on to others that may be interested.

Hope to see you there!
