Hello all. I have been searching for my fathers family since I was 16 years old. That is when my mother told me about his family. It took me a long time to find them. But I finally did it. I have two uncles I didnt even know about. See my father passed away when I was a year and a half. My mother and my fathers mother were at eachothers necks on who should have me. Well my mom took off and never heaed from them again. Well, it hurt me to know I had family out there that I didnt know. I understand my mothers reasons. I understand my grandmothers reasons. Why they tried so hard. I was a baby to a teen mom at the time. Unfortunately I lost my family on my fathers side in the process. But due to my relenting searching and not giving up and for those who did the geaneology on my fathers family to way before he was even born I found them. Just last year after my mother passed away on sept. 1st. About three weeks after I found them. My uncle who lives up here is a bit skeptical. But my uncle who lives in florida accepts me with open arms. I have loved them since I knew. I call and talk to them as often as I can. Things that I told him that my mother told me were my proof to who I was. The uncle that I did know about has passed away. I never got to meet him. Or my grandmother. I learned that I lived very close to where my grandmother lived when I lived in florida. So close and didnt even know it. Well I wanted to thank those who wrote the report and who supplied all the names. It helped alot. It changed my life when I needed it most. I have my full family back. Thank you soooooo much.
