Stephen My ancestor was Johannes Adam Reister name changed to John Rester.He arrived in US 16 Sept. 1738. He had land in Berkely Co. or Parish which ever it was called back then by grant from King George II or III of England. The land was in SC. His son George Frederick Rester inherited the land from his father. I believe the family was from Durlach, Germany. Johannes precept date was 20th March 1744.This is the day he sworn allegence to this country. He was listed as a Palatine. At this time we don't plan on researching any further than the original imigrant. The names you listed are not familiar to me. Wish I could offer so help. Frances
