Looking for information and leads on Reverend John Renwick b. 1735 Dervock County Antrim, Ulster N. Ireland d. 1775 Newberry S.C. buried Cannons Creek A.R.P. Church Cementary. Married Elizabeth Simpson. He brought his congregation from N. Ireland to the USA beginning in 1767-1770. An Anti-Burgher pastor who established the King's Creek and Cannon's Creek A.R.P. churches in Newberry County SC. Supposedly, his family was forced out of Scotland as part of the Convenanter Raising.
