The book "Rulewater and Its People: An Account of the Valley of the Rule and Its People" by George Tancred of Weens, formerly very difficult to find, is now readily available online via Google Books. It contains a section on the Renwicks of this area, Moses and Richard and their children, some of whom emigrated from Scotland to the United States (New York and Michigan) and Canada.
