I'm looking for any information on Sabino Renteria. His parents could be Damacio Renteria & Juana Leija. Sabino is said to have been born in Villa de Guadalupe, Mexico. I don't know when. Family oral history claims that he died 26 MAR 1926 in Austin, Travis Co., TX.
He is said to have married or at least to have had children with Carlota Tellez. They had the following children:
Damacio b. circa 1903, Devine, TX; d. circa 1982
Tomasa
Jesusa
Natalia
Family oral history says that Sabino and Carlota also raised Carlota's brother Rafael Tellez. Supposedly, Rafael went by "Mike" and might have even taken on the Renteria surname.
Three other women are claimed to have either married or had children with Sabino. They are as follows:
[1] Jesusita Ortiz had Tiburcio Renteria b. 11 AUG 1880; d. 21 SEP 1947. Jesusita died during childbirth.
[2] Gila Velez 1863-1941 had the following children:
Victoria Renteria 1881-1968
Manuel Renteria 1886-1962
Julian Renteria 1887-1965
Jose W. Renteria 1888-1981
[3] Hilaria Jaramillo de Gonzales was possibly married to Sabino in Laredo, TX. They had the following children:
Antonia Renteria
Emilia Renteria
Juanita Renteria 1896-1969
