I responded to a message in a different web site with this info but I decided to start a new thread here so as to it be avasilable to all.
Hope this helps someone.

Anyway my name is Rene Renteria and I am originally from Robstown, TX.
You mentioned that your Dad was rumored to have had a second family in Robstown. I am just hoping you can elaborate. I am trying to set up our family tree and was wondering if you perhaps might be related.
The Robstown Renteria's started with my grandfather Jacobo and his wife Ascencion. They had 11 children -(Oldest to youngest) Adelina, Lucia, Augustin, Jose, Rodolfo, Jacobo Jr., Ascencion, Adolfo, Josephina, Alfredo, and my dad Carlos. I am the youngest of four children.
I any if these names ring a bell please let me know but, from your message It seems to imply that your father would have been my grandfather. I don't believe that is possible since my grandfather is buried in Robstown. I have been to the gravesite. My grandfather did have a couple of brothers though, one was named Levi the other slips my mind. I cannot find my resaerch papers at this time but, I do not believe it was Tiburcio. He also had a couple of step sisters, Delphi Duncan and another. I am running out of relatives to talk to. My aunt Ascencion (Chonita) is the only sibling left since, my dad passed last Nov.
Hope to hear from you with any info. Thanks for your time.
By the way, my grandfather's dad was Jose Renteria and his mother was Isabel Cruz.
Sincerely,
Rene Renteria
