I think that Friedrich Renn (son of John Renn and Christina) and Catharine B. Strauss had one more child, the eldest, Elizabeth C. Renn, born 2 Jan 1863 in Fulton Maryland and died 9 December 1937 in Burtonsville, MD.
My cue came from an obit for her (Sunday Star for 12-12-1937[Balto.]) that said that Elizabeth C. Schaub wife of the late Jacob Schaub died on Thursday, December 9, 1937, at the home of her sister, Mrs.Remus Miles, Burtonsville, Md. Funeral service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fulton, MD on Sunday December 12 at 2:30 p.m. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
Her tombstone in St. Paul's cemetery says, "Elizabeth C. Schaub / Jan. 2, 1863 / Dec. 9, 1937." She is in row 3 next to Caroline E. Renn (Howard County Maryland Records vol 6, p. 92, published by the Howard County Genealogical Society).
Mrs.Miles Remus is Emma Louise Renn, daughter of Frederick and Catharine. Frederick is son of John Renn (b.17 Jan 1802, Hesse Cassel, Prussia, d. 2 Jul 1884) and Christina (b. 21 Sep 1803, Prussia, d. 10 Dec. 1879).
My question is "Who is Jacob Schaub?"
