I may have something on your Henry Renn.I have been plowing through this family trying to find its connection to my Samuel Frazier 1852 1912.I show he lived with a John W. Rum in 1870 in Sangamon Co. Ill.In today's processI have found the names also spelled Reem in the 1850 census, but land records and a marriage for Renn. But Ithink they are all the same family.
Now Henry Reem appears in the 1850 Sangamon Co. Ill census. He is 45 from Pa.Has a wife, Nancy, 46 from Pa. and a 3 year old son John. Now I know this is not the wife that I saw mentioned on genforum, but it also is a late marriage, so could be a second marriage. In 1860 there is also a Henry Reem listed in the census but I haven't gotten the report yet. I also don't think this marriage lasted very long as I find a marriage record for Nancy Reem to Charles R. Hutton on Sept 24, 1854, same county. In 1860 Nancy Hutton,66 Pa. is living with her son John Rum 23 Ill. Does any of this sound like it could connect to your Henry???
